4. SSI generally does not provide an honorarium for speakers. Obtain approval through Curriculum Committee if offered or requested.

 

• If speaker/presenter is unfamiliar with SSI, email the website and/or provide a brief description of what SSI is all about, i.e., business card mission statement, SSI story, etc. _________________________

 

• Look at SSI Class Schedule spreadsheet (on Google Docs or request from contacts below) for possible dates to meet speaker accommodations:  ________________________________________________________________________________

 

• Send email to let speaker know what dates are available. Request 3 optional dates:

• Verify on spreadsheet that speaker’s chosen date is available. If so, contact David Gaynon, Deborah Carrales or Betty Woods to enter the class presentation information.

• If speaker has handouts prior to class, email them to SSI newsletter editor ([email protected]) to be attached to a link in upcoming newsletter _________________

 

• Finalize missing information from Speaker and email info to one of the contacts above to enter in class schedule prior to printing deadline. ____________________________________________________

 

• Send Zoom link (if applicable) to speaker 1 week before class ________________________________

 

• Exchange cell phone numbers with speaker in case of a last minute emergency.
