What is the Senior Studies Institute (SSI)?
SSI is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization that provides presentations, discussions and other events mainly designed for seniors. SSI was founded in 1991 by Neal Naigus, of Portland Community College (PCC), and a group of seniors dedicated to lifelong learning.
