PCC CLIMB Center (CLIMB): 1626 SE Water Ave., Portland; pay for parking. Neighborhood House (NHH): 8959 SW Barbur Blvd., Portland Class duration noted if expected to be less than 2 full hours. Please wear your name tag to all in-person classes (fill out the medical info on the reverse side).

What we are all about...
Do you enjoy learning new things, engaging in lively discussions, and meeting interesting people? You can share common interests by joining the Senior Studies Institute (SSI), Portland Community College’s lifelong learning institute. SSI offers a wide range of activities, both in person and on Zoom. Here are some of the things we offer:
· Current Events discussions
· Book and Film discussions
· Poetry and Play reading
· Lectures on various topics, from history to music to science and nature
and much more
· Video series from the Great Courses
· Picnics and lunches where you can mingle with other members

Attend two activities before you join. No registration required.
Then consider becoming a member.

2026-7 MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL TIME
1) Membership year runs from Sept. 1 to Aug. 31.
2) Annual dues are $50/individual or $80/2 in the household.
3) Presently we are accepting new and renewing membership
by mail.
4) Print out and complete the Membership Form
(second item from left, in the menu at the top of this page)
and mail with check, payable to PCC, to:
SSI, P.O. Box 80744, Portland, OR 97280-1744
5) A renewal letter and membership form was mailed to all
members of record.

SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS
These gatherings are a chance for members to focus on one particular area of interest beyond what is offered in classes or they offer the opportunity for members to gather together regularly to study and discuss topics of mutual interest in various disciplines. They are completely member-driven. It's a great way to socialize with people with similar interests outside of the normal SSI class environment. For more information check out the weekly SSI Newsletter to join. To start a SIG, email Warren.
